Aconcagua 6959m / 22834 ft. located in the heart of Chile-Argentina's central Andes, it is the highest mountain on both Western and Southern Hemisphere. Main highlight for climbers around the world. Its name is native in origin and may come from the Inca word "Ackon Cahuak" which means "Stone Sentinel." This massif peak is isolated from the whole surrounding mountain ranges creating its own microweather system. This itinerary is a unique opportunity of performing two expeditions in two different countries where the contrast of the local cultures and the high altitude mountaineering experiences are combined.
